Big update!
- Artwork update! It's now all by the incredible Evlyn Moreau, a couple commissioned pieces and the rest from her patreon.
- Layout update! Now it's letter pages and way less cramped.
- Martial Artist removed.
- Was unhappy with the calling, it’ll likely return in the future once I’ve figured out how to rework it.
- Spell and Ritual lists completed at 50 entries each
- Classes are now named Callings
- Everyone has slightly more starting Grit now
- Significant reworking of Archivist, Demonic Sorcerer, and Blessed of Water Callings.
- Minor reworkings of the rest of the Callings
- Tweaks to damage/death/critical damage, “direct damage” is now defined.
Still to do:
- More playtesting, expect things to change. Only a few callings have been live tested.
- Bestiary, including pre-gens for each calling.
- Expanded GM guidance.
- Magic items, artifacts list.
- Possibly a pricing guide?

I love the Cleric of Small Gods. The domain die steps down when it, "describes a long lasting effect (step up twice if permanent)." Should that be "steps down twice if permanent"?

I really enjoy how you presented the callings on page 15, especially how you give hints about which players might be interested in each one.
Have you thought about callings for people who, "want to sneak around and work in the shadows," or, "want to smaaaaaassssh~~~ things"? Would you be open to contributions?
I actually cut a "Martial Artist" calling, that was sort of an overlap of "want to hit things" and "want to sneak around". It had issues of trying to do too much, and also having an over-complicated core ability.
I've been mucking around a bit with a "sneaky, in the shadows" calling that might make it into the next update. As for a "want to smash things" I haven't figured out a way to make it work that gels with the rest of the game yet.
I'm always happy to hear ideas for things, although I don't think I'd include other author's work in the book itself. However, I'd absolutely love to see "Compatible With Brighter World" on supplements or standalone Callings! Although, realistically, if you go that route I would probably say to also make them Cairn/ITO compatible for the sake of interacting with a reasonably sized audience.
